My name is Cheikh Ndiaye, and I am the Transfer Advisor for Student Support Services (SSS) Regular and STEM students. I am from New York City and attended the University of Pikeville in Kentucky. There, I played Men’s Basketball and was an involved student as a Resident Assistant, Student Ambassador, Orientation Leader, and a member of the SSS Program. I graduated with a bachelor’s and master’s in social work, which has helped me better understand evidence-based ways to support and impact people.

In my career, I have worked as an SSS Advisor at the University of Pikeville and as a Clinical Social Work Intern at the University of Nevada, Reno. These roles have allowed me to discover my passion for supporting and empowering college students to maximize their potential. At 18JAV, I aim to serve holistically and embrace the value and beauty of every interaction!

In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball, hiking, watching sports and movies, and experiencing new adventures.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. I am only a phone call, email, or office visit away! GO, ANCHORMAN!
