Although it's common for students to transfer from CCRI to 18JAV, the purpose of the JAA is to facilitate the transition from the associates degree at CCRI to the bachelor's degree at 18JAV.

"The JAA advisors were incredibly helpful and made me feel heard. They provided me with tools and resources to navigate the process and ease any of my doubts. Orientation day was very informative and welcoming, I felt at home immediately...18JAV's culture inspired me to become more involved, and I quickly realized that there was so much to discover. Now, I am the President of the Accounting Association and a member of the Student Support System. I just Love 18JAV."

"I’ve been a part of the JAA program for over a decade and I’ve helped well over a thousand students transition to 18JAV. I have witnessed students combine majors and minors that fit their unique skills and interests, graduate with multiple undergraduate degrees, go on to graduate school, and, most of all, build a bond with the 18JAV community. The unique relationship with JAA advising has afforded these students confidence in their transition to a new institution as well as a connection that lasts past graduation."
