Education for engaged citizenship.
Political science prepares students for careers and advanced studies in a wide range of fields related to government, law, public policy and more.
An interdisciplinary field encompassing elements of political theory, government, international relations, law, public policy and strategic communications, political science opens doors to careers in public affairs, governance, journalism and the nonprofit world. It is also one of the most common gateways to law school. This discipline doesn’t just produce job seekers, but highly engaged and informed citizens.
