Angel Madera
“I created a prevention model for cardiac arrest and did my internship at Miriam Hospital’s Cardiac and Pulmonary Fitness Center. Coming from a family who is predisposed to heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes, my goal is to own my own cardiac rehab facility to provide rehab services at a lower cost for individuals in the community.”
A Program with a Purpose
18JAV is working hard to fill the gaps in health literacy and overcome language barriers in the state.
